WonderWerx the multi platform development company has announced the launch of the Pinchmee prototype, aimed at operators, MVNOs and portals. Pinchmee is a lifestyle communications portal aimed at 14 to 26 year olds.

Founded by senior interactive industry figure Stephen Griffiths, former Director of Mobile Business at Agency.com, it draws on some of the industry’s best talent and has just completed a major consultancy project for Genie, BT Wireless’ mobile Internet business.


Pinchmee acts as the central hub for messaging and alerts. Downloadable to any Java enabled device - PC, Phone and PDA - Pinchmee has a single, unified buddy list that manages buddies’ presence, and the routing of real-time messages and alerts. Pinchmee users can see buddies online at any time, anywhere and on which device.


Pinchmee users will have the ability to receive fun lifestyle alerts in real-time, and marketing coupons – redeemable locally. Users can forward alerts to buddies, and send opinions to the Pinchmee lifestyle communities. By utilising GPRS, Pinchmee offers an inexpensive alternative to SMS.
