Scaling the dizzy heights is not just a metaphor for this year’s business performance by Eyretel, a leading developer and supplier of recording, monitoring, and analysis solutions for contact centres, it will be a reality for Eyretel employees who’ve volunteered to climb the UK’s three highest mountains in a bid to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
On 15 September two teams; one from sales and marketing and one from development, will be are taking part in this year’s Three Peaks Challenge, organised by national charity Children’s Aid Direct and sponsored by Cable & Wireless.
The teams will be put through their paces as they race against the clock to reach the top of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours. In between ascents, the team will be transported between mountains and watered, fed and given moral support and encouragement from Eyretel colleagues.
