SAS Institute, the market leader in analytical CRM and data warehousing, today announced the appointment of Jason Goodwin as CRM Programme Manager for SAS UK. Previously an associate director for Plaut Consulting, heading up the CRM and business intelligence practice, Goodwin is responsible for the CRM programme across all industry sectors for the UK and Ireland.
Goodwin brings more than 14 years experience in both the public and private sector to SAS. His focus for the past five years has been in the CRM/ business intelligence field. Whilst at Plaut Consulting, Goodwin's responsibilities included strategic consulting for ebusiness and CRM clients. Prior to Plaut Consulting, Goodwin worked for Siemens Business Services as a senior consultant responsible for the ebusiness and CRM team.
At SAS, Goodwin will spearhead the adoption of the recently launched Enterprise Marketing Automation (EMA) suite of software and work closely to tailor these solutions for each vertical sector. He will also focus on the customer issues affecting businesses such as data protection and data privacy, integration of customer information and customer profiling and personalisation. Goodwin will replace Peter Dorrington, who has taken up the post of business solutions marketing manager, SAS UK.
