18 September 2001 - Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), a global leader in
application server software and services, today announced expansion of its
marketing organisation in the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region. The
move reflects the strong growth of the EMEA marketplace and its growing
importance to Citrix's global strategy. Jane Rimmer, formerly Citrix
marketing director for Northern Europe, has been named to a new position in
which she will oversee pan-regional marketing efforts. As senior director,
marketing for EMEA, Rimmer will report to Stefan Sjöström, senior vice
president EMEA. She will concentrate her efforts on planning and executing
region-wide marketing initiatives to raise awareness of Citrix and its
solutions.

"As Citrix customers and partners become more globally focused, we must
ensure our marketing provides optimal scale, reach and consistency within
and across the major geographies," said Sjöström. "Jane's great success in
marketing Citrix and our solutions within Northern Europe makes her the
ideal person to direct EMEA-wide marketing. Her energy and experience will
enable Citrix to move to the next level in our regional efforts."

Rimmer, who joined Citrix in 1997, was named marketing director for Northern
Europe in 1999. Previously, she served as European marketing manager at
Hayes Microcomputer Products, Inc. She also spent seven years at Sun
Microsystems in a variety of marketing roles, culminating with her promotion
to European marketing communications manager for Sun's software division.
