At Storage Expo, Auspex will be announcing solutions developed with technology from key vendors.

· 100% application availability

· Lower implementation costs for applications

· Optimised network infrastructure

· Centralised management of applications, storage, security and costs

· Shifting up a gear with E-mail archiving – Auspex with e-mail archiving specialist Essential Computing provide solutions that offer easy to manage archiving and fast retrieval of e-mail based information. Benefits include: reduced expenditure on software license & costly servers and a 50% reduction in storage capacity needs.

Paul Sleep, European Marketing Director comments: “The co-operation around thin client and e-mail management is important from an end user perspective. Storage is not about isolation but about consolidation of information and the applications that use that information.”

Sleep concludes: “Everyone is looking for ‘the killer application’ and the storage arena is no different. But what everyone must realise is that everything that needs information to be relevant, up to the minute and easy to use is the killer application at that moment in time. No one cares where that information resides it could be on a No. 7 bus as long as it is there when they want it, is protected from loss and secured from attack.”

Auspex Systems Limited is on Stand: 625 at Storage Expo.

Journalists are also invited to enter the Press only “Storage Expo Grander Prix”, where the fastest journalist at the wheel during the show will win a bottle of Champagne. All runners up receive the Storage Architecture Guide. For more details on this or to schedule a meeting with Paul Sleep or one of his colleagues at the Show, please do not hesitate to contact Michele Osten or Rose Ross at the Auspex Press Office on 020 8255 5225 or e-mail
