Web Software Developer & Content Management Provider Form Partnership

Stoke-On-Trent, UK October 15th: Live Information Systems (LIS), a leading developer of web-based content management applications, today announced a marketing partnership with web-software innovators Macromedia. Through the partnership, a series of six free one-day seminars will present the benefits of using both Live Information Systems’ content management solution Nimoi and Macromedia’s Web products.

Nimoi, built using Macromedia's ColdFusion development environment, provides the advanced Content Management, Personalisation and Workflow capabilities that are only possible with the new generation of dynamic Web tools.

“Content management systems are fast becoming a must-have tool for modern business,” explains Matt Farrar, CEO of Live Information Systems. “Building on ColdFusion has meant that Nimoi is both fast to roll out and highly scalable. Perhaps more importantly, partnering with Macromedia means Nimoi is tightly integrated with Macromedia's market-leading range of servers, authoring environments and media players.”

Mike Pritchard, Northern Europe Partner Manager at Macromedia, commented on the synergy in this partnership. "People ask us where Macromedia's technology is going, and these seminars will give us the opportunity to present our vision for the dynamic future of the web. Dynamic sites introduce powerful new capabilities like Content Management, personalisation and workflow. Live Information Systems Nimoi is a perfect example of this and we are pleased to be announcing this partnership."

The first seminar will be held on Friday, November 2nd at the Palace Hotel Manchester. Registration information and details on future seminars can be found at www.liveinfo.net
