Leeds, England – 16 October 2001 - The Program Management Group (PMG), UK pioneers in multi project management software, has introduced its third generation programme management system. Hydra3, available immediately, extends the reach and functionality of the programme management tools to new parts of user organisations.

A major feature of the latest system is its modular approach to suit different users: Hydra Manager for programme and project managers, Hydra Personal for team members and Hydra Timesheets, a low-cost timekeeping module.

Hydra3 uses new web and Internet technologies to allow members of an organisation, anywhere, the capability to manage, collaborate and update programme information in any combination of web/ Internet access, irrespective of type of network and connection state. In this way, local and remote workers are seamlessly integrated.

In addition, new modules are introduced, including integration with Microsoft Outlook’s calendar and task functions, an advanced alert system, an extended report writer and a zero purchase cost web-based timesheet system. In addition, a unique benefits modelling analysis module will be added this year, providing programme managers with a powerful tool to evaluate a portfolio of projects and their impact on the business.
