Ironside Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of sell-side B2B eCommerce solutions for the manufacturing and distribution markets, today announced the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has signed an agreement to use Ironside’s enhanced Order Management Suite as the infrastructure for its European eBusiness dealer network.
Goodyear selected Ironside to create an online channel for its more than 7,500 European dealers to transact and place orders for approximately 2,000 different product identifiers. Ironside’s eCommerce products will integrate directly into Goodyear’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, providing significant operational efficiencies through seamless real-time order management, including simplified electronic order entry, order tracking and inventory availability.
Since successfully deploying Ironside’s technology software throughout Latin America, Goodyear has experienced a rapid transfer of orders from its phone-in system to its B2B system, accompanied by an increase in overall dealer satisfaction levels.
