WebCensus Hosted Inventory Service Offers OEM, Integration, And Standalone Revenue Possibilities For VARs And Integrators

Tally Systems, the innovative provider of IT asset tracking solutions, today announced it is looking for channel and sales partners to sell its newly launched WebCensus product to the SME marketplace. Opportunities are also open for integration of the inventory technology into other offerings or as OEM arrangements.

WebCensus is a remotely hosted service that provides an instant, accurate inventory of a small to medium sized business’ IT assets via the web. It will help SMEs with software licence compliance and produce reports for internal auditing and budgeting.

John Mahon Vice-President EMEA of Tally Systems, says, “WebCensus represents a unique servicing opportunity for the channel, as well as a chance for security VARs to embed the technology into their existing offerings, or just use it as a stand-alone product. Asset tracking is the key first step to just about any IT project, and has potential to complement many other service offerings with enhanced revenue. Currently our plan is for Tally Systems to host the software, but it would be possible for a channel player to do its own hosting if the revenue opportunities are there.”

Mahon continues, “WebCensus recognises that projects are time sensitive, and that eliminating work is much more helpful than adding new steps. It requires no installation, no training, and no maintenance. Run over the web, the results are available immediately, lowering temperatures in boardrooms and tempers in senior executives. It gets IT managers what they need, when they need it.”

The benefits of the WebCensus hosted PC audit service include quick results, low risk, cost effectiveness, no installation or maintenance, unsurpassed accuracy and unmatched detail. With a unique net-native architecture, WebCensus can securely and efficiently audit PCs and return inventory results in minutes.
