London, UK, November 7, 2001 – Concur Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNQR), the market leader of Corporate Expense Management solutions, today announced the release of version 3.1 of the Application Service Provider (ASP) model of Concur Expense™. The release of version 3.1 includes support of the Euro as a base and expense currency, enhanced international functionality, and an improved user experience.
“The additional European feature functionality provides our customers with the necessary tools to operate as efficiently as possible,” commented Simon Nelson, general manager and vice president of Concur EMEA. “The release of version 3.1 for the ASP model of Concur Expense validates Concur’s leadership in the travel and entertainment (T&E) expense management market. The new European feature functionality underpins our commitment to customers and improves overall usability.”
Concur Expense 3.1 provides Concur’s customers with the features and functionality necessary to better compete in the global economy. The new functionality includes: support of the Euro, which allows corporate travellers to submit expenses in the Euro and be reimbursed in sterling; reimbursement enhancements; and the addition of a field called “Reimbursement Country,” which allows all US and European travellers to create audit rules that are dependent on a specific country.
With the ASP delivery model of Concur Expense, Concur hosts and manages the application remotely, eliminating costly implementation, IT infrastructure and maintenance requirements, while providing secure 24/7 access. Concur’s solutions are delivered to employee desktops via a Web browser, and are accessed by employees from anywhere at any time over a secure Internet connection.
Concur Expense automates the T&E expense management process – from expense report preparation and approval to policy compliance, reimbursement and data analysis – to increase traveller and back-office productivity, while uncovering travel spending trends.
