…Appointment Set To Boost Edenbrook’s Enterprise Integration Revenues…

Leading ERP and CRM consultancy Edenbrook Solutions, today announced the appointment of David Bosomworth as UK sales manager. Bosomworth will be responsible for expanding Edenbrook’s enterprise integration practice set up to help companies integrate core back-office applications with front-end CRM applications.

Bosomworth will also be responsible for revenue generation across Edenbrook’s core ERP and CRM practices, managing sales campaigns and delivery functions. Bringing over 15 years experience implementing successful sales and marketing strategies, Bosomworth will provide specific expertise in selling and delivering fixed-price projects. Edenbrook’s rapid growth and increasing market demand for IT services prompted the appointment.

Bosomworth said: “In today’s environment, it’s imperative for IT departments to slim costs. Companies need to be able to justify expenditure, especially when it comes to major CRM, ERP and eBusiness projects that typically go over time and budget and offer a lack of return on investment (ROI). As a result companies are swiftly moving away from traditional time and materials projects towards prime contracts – where consultancies deal with third parties on behalf of their customers – and fixed-price contracts, which allow companies to measure ROI from day one.”

Edenbrook marketing director David Kilpatrick said: “In our experience, it’s no longer acceptable to expect to sell services without giving the customer the ability to justify expenditure up front. Take our customers migrating to Oracle 11i for example. They are requesting an ROI figure from the outset.”

Bosomworth joins from Internet consultancy BBST (Big Blue Steel Tiger) where as founder he grew the company to a run rate of £3M winning business with a range of blue chip companies. As sales director for training and consultancy firm Valtech, Bosomworth successfully redefined the company’s sales and delivery strategy to introduce fixed-price contracts and increased average order values by 500 per cent. Prior to Valtech, Bosomworth spent eight years at Sequent Computer Systems consistently over-achieving sales targets and managing complex and lengthy sales campaigns.

Edenbrook will utilise Bosomworth’s experience of defining and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies for Internet-based solutions. Following an initial focus on Edenbrook’s enterprise integration practice, Bosomworth will implement company-wide processes to help Edenbrook reach stringent sales targets.
