Internet Software Company’s Growth Creates Added Need For International Sales
And Marketing Initiatives
November 12th, 2001 – Ipswitch, Inc., a leading supplier of Internet productivity software, today announced four new appointments to its European office, international sales and marketing groups.
Allan Poot has been named European regional sales director for Ipswitch’s office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Poot is responsible for Ipswitch product sales and distributor recruitment in the UK, Scandinavia, Dutch Benelux and South Africa. Prior to joining Ipswitch, he was general manager for Commission Junction, Europe. Poot has a degree in small business management from Daemlin Management School in Johannesburg. He is currently secretary to the Commercial Anglo Dutch Society (CADS) in The Netherlands and a member of the IoD (Institute of Directors).
Loic Triger has also been named European regional sales director for Ipswitch’s office in Amsterdam. In this role, Triger is responsible for Ipswitch product sales and distributor recruitment in southern Europe, the Mediterranean rim, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Ipswitch, Triger headed the retail travel division of Marchon, Inc., a designer of eyewear and sunwear.
In international sales, Judy Zhu has joined Ipswitch as Pacific Rim account manager. She is responsible for managing end-user, reseller and distributor accounts in the Asia Pacific territories. Most recently, Zhu was a product marketing manager with EPSON Co., Ltd. In Beijing, China. She has an MBA from the Washington University John M. Olin School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Zhejiang University in China.
Ian Cruzen has been named direct marketing manager. In this position, he will generate print and e-mail campaigns to inform Ipswitch’s customer base and prospective customers about Ipswitch product benefits. He previously was a product marketing manager and IT business analyst with HomeRuns.com. Cruzen has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Texas A&M University.
