Leading UK solutions provider Deverill has further strengthened its Support and Project Management staff with three senior appointments.
Paul Smith joins the company as Senior Services Support Manager. Paul has 15 years experience in the IT business and was formerly UK IT Manager for Yacht UK, part of the Randstad Group, the world's third largest recruitment company.
Previous to that, Paul worked for 13 years with the Royal Dutch Shell group where he was an Infrastructure Development Analyst, some of Paul's responsibilities were System builds, O/S rollouts and Y2K project management.
Paul is married with two children.
Dave Hassall joins Deverill as Project Manager. Dave has some 17 years experience in the IT industry. He was employed for 13 years with Telxon, the world's largest producer of hand held computers and wireless network systems.
He was responsible for project management of all Marks & Spencer's hand held computer systems for some 10 years and project managed Europe's largest wireless network installation at Ford's Parts and Servicing warehouse in Daventry.
Dave Thompson has been appointed as Senior Project Manager. Dave has 13 years experience in the banking industry, seven of which is in IT. Before joining Deverill, Dave worked for NatWest Bank plc as IT Project Co-ordinator.
While with NatWest, Dave was one of the team of project managers responsible for the implementation and delivery of www.natwest.com. He was also a peripatetic project manager for the national roll-out of Windows NT to all NatWest branches in South West England, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar.
