21 November 2001 - Walker Interactive Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:WALK), a global provider of e-business solutions for the enterprise, today announced three senior former appointments following its acquisition of QSP's intellectual property and certain consulting services. The strategic appointments, all of which report to Walker's EMEA Managing Director Roger Llewellyn, are supported with the recruitment of 70 former QSP customer support, development and consulting staff.

Keith Milton takes on the role of Finance Director, bringing with him a wealth of financial experience having worked for QSP for almost two years. Prior to this he was Finance Director of an MBO for three years. Milton is enthusiastic about the new role: "It is an excellent fit and a strong strategic acquisition with a natural partner from the point of view of our customer base and product sets." He added: "The business has grown significantly overnight and we are all looking forward to working successfully as one combined force in the marketplace."

Jim Morley joins Walker as Director of Integration. Having worked for QSP for seven years as Group Solutions Director and HR Director, he takes on the role of ensuring an infrastructure is in place to provide continuity of service and support for all staff and customers. With the role of integrating the systems and processes of the two organisations, Morley said: "It is essential that the initial customer contacts and the establishment of systems is followed by a smooth integration of all Walker business. This is of concern not only to new clients but to reassure the excellent Walker clients that resources will not be diluted. The whole management team at Walker are extremely committed to uniting the best of both companies' cultures."

Dean Dickinson will become Professional Services Director at Walker. Former QSP man, Dean Dickinson takes on the role of Professional Services Director for Walker EMEA. "The coming together of QSP and Walker skills offers exciting opportunities," said Dickinson. "There is a substantial level of consulting experience, expertise and talent within both organisations that we are combining to create strong synergies and commercial advantages."

Walker's EMEA Managing Director Roger Llewellyn said: "This new team strengthens Walkers capability to deploy broad-based expert teams working on enterprise level projects. This newly acquired resource will help us manage the growth of our business in the future and of course will underpin the success of our customers."
