xstreammedia has supplied and installed an Avaya INDeX phone system with call centre functionality at PSI Live’s head office in Bracknell, Berkshire.
The call centre has 40 agents and has the capacity to expand as demand for online conveyancing continues to grow.

PSI Live was one of the first companies to introduce online conveyancing several years ago. But as potential homebuyers are increasingly using the internet to find properties so the demand for the service has grown. Once the prospective homeowner has answered some standard questions, PSI Live ( gives a fixed price quote on a “no sale, no fee” basis. Customers can then check the progress of their house sale and/or purchase via the Internet or by telephoning the call centre.

Ian Simpson, Chief Executive of PSI Live explained, “We needed a call centre to handle initial calls as people are still nervous about using a service that is purely internet. Knowing that they can speak to a real person should they have a query gives people far more confidence in the service. We knew that we wanted an Avaya system and xstreammedia were recommended to us. The parameters of the project were agreed, timescales set and xstreammedia achieved them all. We have been very pleased with the service from xstreammedia.”

Jeff Siggers, Sales Director at xstreammedia commented, “We see again and again that successful businesses wishing to use the Internet as an additional medium and route to market need to offer traditional telephone contact points for clients. PSI Live is a great example of using the internet for straightforward processes, like checking the status of a transaction, and supplementing this with voice for personal interaction giving added value.”
