Inclarity’s consumer unified communications product, Hitoori, has been significantly enhanced.
London 07.12.01 — Hitoori has had some major updates to improve its features, services, look and feel.
The updates to the Hitoori service which are now available, include : total text to speech and speech to text conversion capability. For example you can receive your SMS messages by dialling in and listening to them. Also an SMS sent from the message centre can be responded to so that it arrives back into your mailbox. With Inclarity’s voicemail feature the user is able to elect from the menu to return a call, thus avoiding the need to take down the caller’s number. The main features of the Unified Communications offering can be integrated with Outlook, for example the Outlook indicator can be set to sound an alert when messages arrive.
Further key updates to Hitoori include :
The enhanced address book which now contains contact’s information details such as, telephone and fax numbers, email addresses and business information. Once a contact is added to the address book, the contact may be accessed from anywhere. Personal addresses can be imported and exported from external applications, such as, Microsoft Outlook Express, and Palm Pilot.
Mailing lists can now be composed and contain contacts already created in the address book. Each mailing list has its own target, such as, a mailing list for email, SMS and fax.
Messages within the message centre can now be sorted and found using a variety of parameters. In addition, up to three telephone numbers can be set so that when calling the voice mail from one of these numbers there is automatic access to the message centre without needing a password login.
An advanced spell checker has been added to the Hitoori Message Centre.
