Computer Printer Specialist teams up with childrens charity

Tally Ltd., the computer printer specialist, has launched a range of festive promotions to take place in the run up to Christmas. As the company celebrates its successful 2001, it has joined forces with childrens charity, Barnado’s, to donate funds raised through a national newspaper campaign, printer sales and a staff fund-raising day.

Tally kick-started the festive season early in association with, online arm of The Sun newspaper. Through an advent competition, Tally is among a number of companies offering free product to readers through’s advent calendar competition. The competition allows readers to preview all 24 prizes, one for each day up until Christmas Eve. The first reader to call with the correct answer to the topical question on each specific day wins the prize. Up for grabs are offerings from Tally’s new colour laser and mono laser ranges, the T8006 and T9312. In support of Barnardo’s major fundraising day on 14th December, Tally will be running an ‘odd’ day at its UK offices. All members of staff will be asked to attire for the day with odd clothes and accessories, with all participants making a contribution to Barnardo’s cause.
