PSDN provides extensive information and support for Progress developers

SLOUGH — 14 December 2001––The Progress Company, a business unit of Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ:
PRGS), has announced the Progress Software Developers Network? (PSDN), a service designed to deliver
information and resources to developers for creating best-of-breed business systems with Progress® technology,
which will be commercially available December 17.

PSDN offers Progress partners access to Progress expertise via technical white papers, live chats with
experts, as well as Web seminars, all aimed at keeping customers informed on how they can take advantage of
the latest Progress innovations and best practices.
