This milestone reflects the ongoing success of the service following the launch of the first site for the British Airways London Eye in May this year. Syntegra’s e-ticketing service, known as Rialto, requires no up-front investment by attraction operators, yet gives them the ability to drive up advance - volumes by significantly enhancing their advance booking capability. Rialto is used by visitors to other attractions including Alton Towers, Madame Tussaud’s in London, and Chessington World of Adventure, as well as the British Airways London Eye. In addition to handling advanced ticketing on the Internet, Rialto can also process sales via Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone systems and will also support mobile devices and interactive digital TV as and when the market for this technology develops. Tussaud’s worked closely with Syntegra over the development of the service. “Rialto has been key in our drive to sell tickets to our customers in a more efficient and cost effective manner.
