* IT Services champion to lead corporate growth
Leading IT Services and Solutions provider Deverill has announced the appointment of Richard Ashmore as managing director.
Richard Ashmore brings with him 24 years experience in the IT sector, including building and developing successful IT Services businesses. His last role before joining Deverill was as a consultant developing business for Hewlett Packard and Aspective.
Before that he was for three years managing director, UK Enterprise Management Services, of SHL (now part of EDS). From 1994 to 1995, he was Data Centre Director of PCL, responsible for two outsourcing Data Centres delivering mainframe-based services 24x7.
Previously, Richard worked for 14 years with Hallmark Cards, for seven years as IT Manager responsible for the provision and development of mainframe and PC business systems for the Hallmark Group of companies.
