SysChecker automates the management of iSeries-AS/400 in areas where labour intensive tasks are prone to human error. Secondly, SysChecker acts as a discovery agent, ensuring the system is running and configured as one would expect, unlike other iSeries-AS400 systems management products that wait for a system generated message to act upon. SysChecker does not require message manager software to provide benefits; alone it provides enhanced system monitoring and a high level of automated management. Furthermore, SysChecker is also capable of monitoring job queues to ensure it never has more than the requisite number of jobs in it.
This new relationship now gives Heroix the opportunity of broadening its system management capabilities to include unique solutions for the iSeries-AS/400 platform. Heroix is able to offer SysChecker's automated fault management solution and integrate into Heroix' powerful product suite. It is now possible to monitor iSeries-AS/400 systems, automatically fix problems and notify via Heroix Event Management Architecture using an integrated set of software tools, just like you would for OpenVMS, Unix and Windows NT/2000 systems.
