Eontec’s e-Mortgage, teller and sales and marketing services now available to League Data customers
Dublin, January 29, 2002 – Eontec, a global provider of Enterprise JavaBeans™ (EJB)-based multi-
channel banking software has been selected by League Data, a Canadian-based information services company, to provide a customised solution of Eontec's e-Mortgage, teller and integrated sales and service software to League Data’s credit union customers.
League Data provides a suite of business solutions including an on-line financial engine, Internet and telephone banking capabilities, and related hardware and software. Credit unions and associated organisations utilise identified solutions as the basis for delivery of electronic services to their members. League Data will now offer Eontec’s e-Mortgage solution, an on-line mortgage application processing system that includes rate quotation, loan origination and tracking services. League Data will also employ Eontec’s branch solution which supports all aspects of ‘over the counter’ activity at branches including advanced security, cash flow analysis and customer profiling.
Additionally, League Data will implement an integrated sales and service solution which links front and back-office solutions on one integrated platform, thereby improving efficiency. This delivers up-selling and cross-selling functions that will enable League Data credit unions to maximise face-to-face interactions at the branch.
Previously, League Data relied on a proprietary-based solution, but as the company decided to add supplementary services, the older solution proved unsatisfactory. Company officials sighted a key objective for their work with Eontec as the need for an open application framework, in order to quickly and efficiently roll out new products and services.
