The new programme includes superior margins of up to 45%, flexible licensing arrangements, an online sales support centre, as well as a marketing support programme designed to boost reseller sales. Capscan sees the channel as the catalyst to increasing its market penetration and promoting the use of its products within different applications or business solutions. The partnership programme will include three levels of partnership - Premier, Senior and Associate. Unlike other reseller programmes available in the marketplace, Capscan Premier level partners receive a 45% margin on all sales for initial year and subsequent years, Senior partners get a 35% margin and Associate partners 20%. In addition, Premier partners receive a FREE subscription to ‘Tenders.co.uk’, the UK leading online leads and tenders information resource, whilst Senior and Associate partners get a 40% discount on the annual subscription. “We regard the channel and VAR’s as one of our core routes to market. This encourages larger end-users to buy and also means higher profits and simplified contracts for the reseller. Capscan are also encouraging sales in the addressing and postcoding market by offering resellers full margins not only in the initial year but also in the subsequent years of the contract. In addition, Capscan have created an online sales support service centre for its VARs and resellers. This will include password-protected extranet for resellers where their field sales and implementation staff can instantly access FAQ sheets, VAR relevant case studies, software downloads and upgrades as well as online HTML user manuals for all Capscan products. And further, partners will receive Capscan products for their own demonstration use as well as a comprehensive Software Developers Kit with sample interface code and HTML manuals for faster and easier integration. They will also have dedicated account managers and full technical and development support. A joint reseller marketing initiative is also being launched to support the partnership programme. Designed to assist the VARs sales promotions, it will include targeted advertising and PR, and joint visits to prospects or client sites. To coincide with the launch of the partnership programme Capscan are launching a new e-mail newsletter for VARs. It will include tips on how to promote sales as well as general product information.
