Technology For Marketing 2002 celebrates record double digit growth in total attendees


London, 27 February 2002. Technology For Marketing 2002 (TFM 2002) was a phenomenal success attracting 3,942 total attendees (1) over the two day event, which is a 16% increase from the launch event in 2001 (2). Since the event’s introduction in 2001, TFM has also seen a substantial year on year increase of 39% in the number of exhibitor’s (3). TFM 2003 will be held in London on 11-12 February 2003.


TFM 2002 played host to 30% of exhibitors launching new products and services over the two days. The 2002 event showcased even more free hands-on educational features, including the Business Solutions Advice Centre, Introductory Marketing Technology Seminars, free product demonstrations, Geographical Information Systems Pavilion, Wireless Marketing Pavilion and a Keynote Session chaired by Emma Howard BBC presenter and journalist. The conference with more than 80% of sessions containing case study material also proved to be a phenomenal success with over 437 conference sessions booked.


The show featured 130 leading companies promoting marketing-related customer-centric technologies including Alterian, Broadsystems, Care Business Solutions, Claritas UK, Convergent Systems, Experian, Identex, MediaCo, Multiactive Software, Protagona Worldwide, Sand Technology, SAS, smartFOCUS, Swetenhams, The Business Database and XKO.
