February 28th, 2002: The Mobile Marketing Association has today announced
that Vizzavi, Europe's leading multi-access portal, is the latest global
company to join the MMA. The addition of Vizzavi, formed by Vodafone Group
Plc, the world's largest mobile network operator, and Vivendi Universal, one
of the world's leading media companies, is expected to help drive the
European expansion of the MMA.

The new addition will take the MMA numbers to over 120 global companies
including mobile operators, content companies, technology providers and
marketing & advertising agencies. Joining European members such as Logica,
Contra, Nokia and Dentsu, Vizzavi is set to take an active involvement in
France, Spain and the Netherlands, with representation within each
territory's local chapter, as well as leading the recruitment of board
members in these countries. The European representation will also include
local members in the UK, Italy, Scandinavia and Germany.
