Planet MOZ now offers free registration to its unique online
community for children

Planet MOZ, http://www.planetmoz.com, the online community for children that provides safe and fun Internet access, is now offering free registration to their online portal. With the free access to Planet MOZ, children can create their own Web sites and interact with other members, while parents can obtain information on how to protect their children online. A recent poll by NOP confirms that safe surfing is an issue that won’t go away: with 81% of children said that they would not disclose personal information over the Internet, mainly as a result of parental involvement in children’s surfing activity.

“When registering with Planet MOZ, children have the opportunity to tap into the wealth of information that is contained within the Internet, without exposing them to a deluge of offensive language and images” comments Stuart Wilson, Managing Director of Hampshire-based ConferNet Ltd that hosts Planet MOZ. “This is achieved by providing the basics to create their own web pages from a choice of 50 designs, with additional features that encourage interaction within the site via email and ‘chat’ facilities.”

“At Planet MOZ we realise the opportunities that the Internet can bring, as well as the ever present dangers”, concludes Wilson, “children are our future and by providing a free registration to Planet MOZ, we are showing our commitment to ensure a safe surfing environment that will be built upon in the years to come.”
