Channel Agreement Combines Industry’s Leading USB Authentication Token With Major European Provider of Digital Certificates and IT Services

Rainbow eSecurity, a Rainbow Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNBO) company and a leading solutions provider of digital content and transaction security, and PinkRoccade, a European supplier of high security IT Services, today announced their joint marketing and technology agreement, which integrates Rainbow’s iKey USB two-factor authentication PKI tokens with PinkRoccade DigiSign’s PKI services and products for key strategic markets in Europe.

The first solution made possible by this agreement is a package of fully functional iKey 2000 USB tokens and Digital Certificates provided by PinkRoccade's DigiTest services. These solutions are used in corporate PKI pilot environments and provide a platform for application testing using real Digital Certificates with two-factor authentication. Once the organisation is ready to migrate from pilot to mainstream deployment, the certificates can be easily upgraded using PinkRoccade's DigiTTM service. DigiTTM is a Total Trust Management solution that operates exactly the same way as DigiTest and is an ideal solution for deployment across groups of 100 or more users. The initial packaged solution is designed to be easily ordered over the Web at

"We are very excited that PinkRoccade has selected our iKey products for integration into their DigiTTM solutions," said Graham Peat, European marketing manager Rainbow Technologies. "iKey 2000 brings the strength of two-factor authentication to PKI, and enhances its security by providing on-board private key generation and signing using DigiTTM certificates. To fully realise these benefits, an organisation needs to test and pilot PKI using real Digital Certificates. Our relationship with PinkRoccade makes this an easy option."

“PinkRoccade prides itself on providing secure solutions for real businesses,” said Barry O’Neill, European business development executive of PinkRoccade. “PinkRoccade looks forward to partnering with Rainbow to introduce working solutions for the working environment. Rainbow's technology is a perfect complement to PinkRoccade's security solutions. Together we can now provide advanced, secure and simple to use solutions for the modern workplace.”
