Latest Release of Company's Comprehensive Suite of Applications Adds Support for IBM Platform

BRACKNELL, UK (March 13, 2002) - Blue Martini Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLUE) today announced the availability of Blue Martini 5, the latest release of the company's comprehensive suite of applications for personalised marketing, sales and self-service across multiple channels. The new suite delivers significant new functionality, as well as support for the IBM platform through Blue Martini IBM Edition, which comes bundled with IBM WebSphere* Application Server and IBM MQ Series* on the IBM AIX* operating system.

Blue Martini Software is delivering significant new business-to-business (B2B) selling and content management capabilities in Blue Martini 5. The new B2B selling features include lead management, request for quote (RFQ), return material authorisations and invoice presentment functionality. Blue Martini 5 also includes an account management system, which provides buyers and sellers with a web-based interface to setup accounts, organisations, contacts, roles and contracts, and manage leads, opportunities, quotes, RFQs and orders. The new content management features include dynamic publishing for the immediate publication of new content to a website, as well as enhanced remote user functionality such as remote workflow and content preview.
