TELUS, Bell Canada and Aliant Telecom Choose BroadJump’s Solutions to
Install High-Speed Access

March 19, 2002 – BroadJump, Inc., the leader in broadband software, today announced the deployment of its Virtual Truck® Qualifier and Virtual Truck Installer solutions by the leading Canadian broadband service providers, giving BroadJump access to more than 90 percent of the Canadian DSL market. BroadJump recently added Aliant Telecom and TELUS to its growing list of Canadian customers, which already included Bell Canada. BroadJump’s Canadian customer base contributes to its success throughout North America, where BroadJump’s customers represent 70% of the broadband market. BroadJump recently marked its entrance into the UK market with NTL’s deployment of its suite of software solutions.

Aliant Telecom, Bell Canada and TELUS are deploying BroadJump’s Virtual Truck Qualifier and Virtual Truck Installer solutions throughout their broadband networks. This combination of BroadJump’s solutions gives service providers an end-to-end broadband subscriber acquisition solution from pre-qualification to system configuration, and initial service activation.

BroadJump’s solutions, responsible for reducing costs associated with installing and supporting high-speed access, benefit service providers and subscribers alike. “Increasing numbers of Aliant Telecom customers are choosing to save time and money by taking advantage of our convenient self-install option for their high-speed Internet service,” says Gracey Southwell, director of systems & operations for Aliant Telecom Broadband Services.

To work within the service provider’s corporate identity, BroadJump’s solutions are re-branded by the service provider. TELUS has re-branded BroadJump’s Virtual Truck Qualifier and Virtual Truck Installer as Velocity® Install Wizard. “Using BroadJump’s solutions, TELUS has taken a significant step forward in the evolution of our ADSL Internet service offering,” said Mike Black, director of TELUS Internet services. “Velocity Install Wizard will enhance our ADSL service delivery process by creating the best customer installation experience possible, especially for customers using TELUS QuickConnect to install their own high-speed service. We needed a radically simple installation tool – and that’s just what we have in Velocity Install Wizard.”

“We are excited to announce that the majority of the leading DSL broadband service providers in Canada have chosen to deploy BroadJump’s solutions,” said Matt Tormollen, vice president of marketing for BroadJump. “BroadJump’s continued penetration into the Canadian broadband market exemplifies our commitment to deliver solutions that enhance the subscriber experience while cutting costs and ensuring long-term profitability for service providers worldwide.”
