Invensys plc and IBM today announced a major outsourcing agreement between the two companies.
IBM will assume responsibility for the management of Invensys computing systems in more than a dozen countries. IBM will manage Invensys applications, as well as its technology, and provide helpdesk and support services for approximately 35,000 workstations.
The appropriate Invensys employees in the IT function will transfer to IBM as part of the agreement.
