WBC installs new position to improve technical support for recently signed distribution agreement with IBM Microelectronics



WBC, the Contributor., an Avnet Company, named Giuseppe Amato as its new Technical Marketing Manager for IBM Microelectronics. He operates out of the WBC office in Milan, responsible for the whole of Europe and reports directly to Stephane Rosa, Technical Director of WBC.


In his new position, Giuseppe Amato will be responsible for technical support of IBM products for
WBC's FAE and Sales team, for the technical strategy and line business development to increase efficiency for the many end-customers who are interested in IBM's solutions.

Giuseppe Amato, 36, highly qualifies for his new position with a strong semiconductor background and the extensive experience in R&D he acquired during his prior positions within Olivetti and Motorola. From 2000 Amato held the position as Senior Program Manager in the System Competence Centre Automotive at Infineon.
