London, 11th April 2002 – IKAN, the first company to offer a comprehensive range of high-level business continuity and security consultancy services to be re-sold through the UK channel, announced today the launch of its Partner Programme. Split into three distinctive categories, IKAN’s partner programme will provide resellers with the necessary skills and resources to enter into the lucrative Risk Management, Information Assurance and Business Continuity market.

All accredited IKAN partners will be entitled to attend a unique series of solutions selling courses by leading business skills trainer, James Long. These courses will normally be offered to IKAN partners at discounted rates, dependent upon their revenues with IKAN, however as part of IKAN’s launch to the channel, the first of these courses will be available free of charge at the various seminars being held around the UK during April 2002.
The IKAN Partner Programme is split into three categories:
IKAN Strategic Partners, who have invested heavily in their own solutions and services focused sales teams, will be able to brand the IKAN services range as their own. These partners receive the highest level of discount, as it is envisaged that they will be self-supporting in the initial sale of IKAN’s services to their clients. IKAN Strategic Partners already include Assurity Europe, eRoom, Evidian, HarrierZeuros, InteRisk and Yorkshire Electricity.
IKAN Partners will receive a much higher level of sales support and therefore will receive a reduced level of discount, however the IKAN expert carrying out work will do so as a representative of the partner.
Though all of IKAN’s vendor accredited and bespoke training courses will be available to the channel, IKAN Training Partners, who specifically concentrate their business on educational services, will be able to receive specialist courses for themselves and their clients. IKAN Training Partners currently include Claritas, Silverlake and Sphinx CST.
