Teradata Announces Business Partnership with Logica

New partnership to provide end-to-end integrated customer relationship management solutions for the financial services industry

LONDON –Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR), today announced a partnership with Logica to provide end-to-end CRM solutions. The relationship will combine the strengths of Logica’s proven track record in consulting, systems integration, CRM and retail channel offerings with Teradata’s data warehouse platform and CRM analytics solution.
Paul Nichols, Logica’s international financial services director said, “While much has been achieved by financial services institutions using CRM solutions, there is still a level of frustration with the gap between the business vision and the actual deployment of a single, current view of the customer at all points of contact. The design, response and scalability of Teradata’s products together with Logica’s renowned consulting and integration capabilities can bridge this gap.”
Teradata combines a multi-channel active architecture that provides up-to-the-minute customer life-style intelligence to all operational channels--agents, sales, call centres, ATMs, the wireless/Internet bank and the branch network. Banks and insurance companies are able to deliver consistent product strategies and a seamless, personalised service to retain and develop customer relationships.

Mike Hamm, Teradata solutions group vice president for strategic partnerships in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, welcomed the partnership with Logica. “Teradata is committed to increasing the participation of partners such as Logica in the extension and delivery of its leading warehouse and analytic solutions,” said Hamm. “By incorporating the Teradata offerings, Logica will be able to provide financial services customers with a world-class multi-channel customer relationship environment.”
“Independent analysts forecast that in the coming years solutions that integrate both the analytic and operational CRM worlds will be sought by clients. Both Logica and Teradata believe that the integration of proven ‘best of breed’ solutions offers the most effective choice for prospective clients,” said Hamm.
