Conference Brings Together Chordiant Global Customers to Discuss Future of Customer Interaction

LONDON - April 23, 2002 -- Chordiant Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHRD), a leader in delivering Dynamically Driven Customer Relationship Management (CRM), today held opening ceremonies for its Inaugural User Group Conference 2002: Building a Dynamically Driven Business. The event, held April 22-24 at London's Heathrow Hilton at Terminal 4, will bring together over 150 users from Chordiant's global customer base to discuss the technologies, the people and the business ideas that will shape the future of customer interaction.

The conference will discuss why traditional approaches to CRM have been met with increasing disappointment and examine new and more contemporary solutions to these problems. Case studies will be presented from representatives of some of the worlds foremost companies who have been quick to recognize the need for real-time, adaptive solutions that will unify the front and back offices and create a dynamic interaction with customers.

Market and financial analysts will also be on hand to discuss trends, issues and future directions of consumer interaction. Chordiant's partners will address technology integration, implementation, training and educational techniques for Chordiant's J2EE-based platform and applications. Chordiant is also expected to announce a range of new products that will complete the critical missing component in enabling the real-time customer.

Keynote speakers will include Stephen Kelly, president and CEO of Chordiant, and Steve Bonadio, senior program director of Meta Group.
