New Application Suite Makes Retail Channels an Extension of the Enterprise

CUPERTINO, California and LONDON -- April 23, 2002 -- Chordiant Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHRD), a leader in delivering Dynamically Driven Customer Relationship Management (CRM), today announced the Chordiant 5 Channel Suite of CRM products, enabling enterprises to extend their business practices and brand management directly to the customer, through their retail channels. This results in a more consistent brand experience that increases customer retention and reduces costs associated with indirect business.

Real-time consumers expect the resources and service of the enterprise to be available through any branded channel (branch, local agent, retail outlets, dealers, etc.).
