Cable & Wireless extends value-added services portfolio for service providers
Cable & Wireless, the global telecommunications group, today (22 May 2002) announced an agreement with the billing and customer management specialist, Software 360, to offer sophisticated internet-based customer management solutions for voice and content services. These solutions will provide resellers, content providers and internet service providers with more effective ways to bill for content.
Software 360 provides companies with the flexibility to bill for any type of transactions whether they are duration, unit, event or usage-based. It can present voice, data, mobile and internet transactions as a single combined invoice.
Cable & Wireless will offer Software 360's solution as a managed service using its global hosting facilities, starting with Swindon, UK.
Cable & Wireless and Software 360 will jointly market this service to Cable & Wireless' global customer base, as well as to new customers. This agreement is one of several Cable & Wireless has signed with value-added service providers to develop the breadth of services it offers to its growing customer base. Other agreements have been made with the Tornado Group, Quios and Centrinity to offer solutions for digital media delivery, real-time messaging and unified messaging respectively.
