New board members reflect SNIAs focus on end user requirements and
education

London/Paris 23rd May 2002 - The Storage Networking Industry Association
Europe (SNIA-E) has elected three new members to its executive committee.

Charles Inches, IT Director at Cornr Bank has been elected Chairman of the
end user advisory board. This new position and board is focused on
developing end user activity within SNIA from a knowledge share perspective
and as a formalised channel for delivering vital feedback to the vendor
community.

Rainer Hilsenbeck, Executive Vice President, of German reseller and IT
consultancy TIM AG has become Chairman of the newly formed Education
Committee of SNIA Europe. Rainer will continue to lead the SNIAs mission to
encourage technical excellence and accredited certification to within all
levels of the industry.

Gill Borniche, EMEA Marketing Director, Legato Systems has been elected as
Chair of the SNIA Europe Marketing committee. She will be focused on
communicating the Associations vision to all areas of the storage
community.

Michel Grosbost, Chairman of the SNIA Europe executive committee and
consultant at French Storage Software and Service Provider NEST welcomes the
new board members: Through 2002 we are focusing on a variety of important
areas such as the new end user advisory board and many education focused
initiatives such as Storage Networking World Europe and the FC-SAN
accreditation. We are very pleased that seasoned storage professionals such
as Charles and Rainer will be leading in these areas. With Gills experience
and focus for SNIA Europes messaging we are looking at a winning
combination.

The SNIA co-founded Storage Networking World Eurostorage event in Cannes
(June 5-7 2002). Eurostorage, is a manufacturer-independent source of
information and thus delivers well-founded knowledge. The conference

Charles Inches

Chairman of the SNIA Europe end user advisory board

IT Director, Cornr Bank, Lugano, Switzerland

Mr. Inches has over 20 years experience in the industry, with five years as
a systems and storage manager. His areas of expertise are Mainframe systems
programming and analysis, mainframe and distributed systems management,
operational management and technical analysis.

His current responsibilities cover IT Service delivery, Infrastructure
architecture and Logistics, with the deployment of around100 people.

Charles was awarded best speaker award at StorageTek FORUM1997 in San
Francisco was the Steering Committee Chairman for EuroStorage from 1999 to
2001 and is an executive member of SNIA-Europe as Chairman of the end users
advisory board.

With over 15 years working in the IT industry, since 2000, Rainer has been
the Executive Board Member responsible for TIM AG business development and
the Marketing, Consulting and Professional Services divisions.

He is an Executive Board Member of SNIA (Storage Networking Industry
Association) Europe and Chairman of the Education Committee of SNIA Europe.

A graduate in philosophy, philology and literature from the Johannes
Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.

Gill Borniche

Gill Borniche is Marketing Director of the Storage Networking Industry
Association
(SNIA) Europe, the European affiliate of the SNIA.

In this role, Gill is responsible with the governing board of directors for
the business strategy of the association, as well as marketing and public
relations activities.

Gill is working to make the SNIA-E the leading voice in storage in Europe,
and through it to alert all enterprises to the new storage solutions and
standards that are continually evolving.

As EMEA Marketing Director at Legato Systems, Gill is responsible for
driving the marketing strategy of Legato Systems storage management
software solutions across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to Legato,
Gill held various marketing communications positions during her 9 years at
Sun Microsystems.

Gill holds an HNC in Business Studies.

Michel R. Grosbost

In this role, Michel as SNIA-E Chairman is responsible with the
Vice-Chairman and the SNIA-E governing board for the business strategy of
the association and for the SNIA-E European end-user group development

With over 20 years of experience in computer storage-related solutions,
Michel is currently a consultant and a major shareholder with NEST, a
software and service provider specialized in Enterprise Storage Management
and in Infrastructure Design. Prior to NEST Michel has served as
Vice-Chairman of ADIC Europe the last 2 years and served as President & CEO
of ADIC Europe from1994 to 2000.

Prior to joining ADIC, he was President & General Manager of
Gigatape/Gigatrend and held a number of management and marketing positions
at Intertechnique, Wang and Hewlett Packard.

Michel holds a degree in electronics from the University of Paris, France.
