QuickAddress Will Capture Accurate Customer Addresses At Point Of Sale
House of Fraser, Britain’s leading national retailer of designer brands, has chosen QuickAddress address management technology from QAS. QuickAddress will be used in House of Fraser stores across the UK, to capture accurate customer addresses for delivery items, such as furniture, as part of the EPOS (electronic point of sale) system.
QuickAddress generates addresses based on the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF), containing the UK’s 1.7 million postcodes and 27 million addresses. Addresses are accurate and free from input errors, to ensure problem free deliveries.
House of Fraser is also employing QuickAddress on their web site to capture the addresses of job applicants. QuickAddress is also to be used within the HR department to ensure the accuracy of employee address information within their Oracle Human Resource Management System.
According to Steve Haeney, Project Manager at House of Fraser, “Capturing our customers’ addresses accurately, especially when it comes to the home delivery of goods, is an important element of customer care. The House of Fraser name is built on first rate customer service and we are keen to embrace technologies that will enhance the high service levels we provide. Similarly, address data integrity is an important element in HR management.”
Catherine Meader, Marketing Director of QAS, said, ”House of Fraser has a well deserved reputation for providing high quality to its customers. We are delighted QuickAddress will play a role in reinforcing this reputation.”
