London 12 June 2002: elata, the innovative wireless software specialist has been selected by Ericsson, the leading supplier of mobile infrastructure systems, to compliment its mobile Internet solutions for mobile operators. The landmark deal makes elata a global Ericsson partner with it¡¦s wireless Java delivery and subscriber management platform - elata senses.

The partnership will allow Ericsson to distribute wireless Java service delivery infrastructure to its significant mobile operator customer base. The alliance is timely for operators who are seeking sustainable non-voice revenue streams from the delivery of mobile data services.

elata senses facilitates the delivery of multiple service and application types, including J2ME, to wireless devices using the most advanced subscriber profiling and management system in the industry. The platform will be promoted by Ericsson as a component of its wireless solutions, providing an end-to-end workflow for the mobile service providers.
