London, England July 12, 2002 - Macrovision Corporation (Nasdaq: MVSN), a world leader in Digital Rights Management technologies, announced today that its Globetrotter Software Division has appointed Michael Moyal as the Middle East, Africa and India Sales Manager. He will be responsible for expanding the FLEXlm®-based family of Electronic License Management products into the Middle Eastern, African and Indian marketplaces. We are eager to expand our operations into the Middle Eastern and Indian Territory, and securing Michael Moyal will help us to undertake this. Michael can help drive sales forward in this area with his extensive knowledge of this particular marketplace.

Michael has held key sales management positions within the IT and software industry. At NXN Software, a leading supplier of Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions in the interactive entertainment, new media and animation markets, he was responsible for developing the company’s UK customer base.

Michael has worked for Allaire Corp., where he sold the company’s unique J2EE and ColdFusion web application servers into the financial, telecommunication and engineering markets. At Callserve Communication, an IP telephony service provider, he initiated a partnership with Microsoft to integrate Callserve telephony service into Microsoft’s MSN Messenger service.

Michael received his B.A. degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and his MBA degree from Middlesex University Business School, in London.
