Sony Jumps Onboard as BroadVision and speed-trap Form Alliance to Deliver Real-Time User Experience Measurement on the Web

BroadVision and speed-trap launch Prophet-BV, delivering speed-trap’s unique real-time observation and measurement of User Experience and User Journey capabilities to Broadvision customers. Sony Broadcast and Professional Europe are first to sign up for this groundbreaking solution.

Newbury, Berkshire July 15th, 2002 speed-trap Limited, the client-side journey analysis experts, today announced their alliance with BroadVision to provide real-time observations and monitoring of User Experience and User Journey to Broadvision users.

This new solution (Prophet-BV) harnesses the unique client-side architecture of speed-trap’s technology to gather real-time information about how users interact with a web site and their exact experience and journey. Once deployed, this system makes the pages of the site self-monitoring, and in this way, the site owner is able to collect information on any aspect of the use of the site. This information can then be returned to the owner via a powerful visualisation and reporting system. Reports can be as simple as click-maps, showing which elements on the page are being clicked most. Then you can drill down to view the mouse trails of an individual user, or even, using the systems

VirtualVideo™ capability, replay the exact interaction and experience of any visitor to the site – and all of this capability is provided without impacting the user’s privacy and with complete anonymity.
Prophet-BV is a unique tool in the market place - It is able to capture and deliver complete information on interactions and experience of every visitor who passed through a BroadVision website, providing the site owner with complete in-context information in as much detail as they wish.
