emedia, the pioneer in the publication of business to business email bulletins, today announced that it is an official media partner for Email Marketing 2002, 6th and 7th November, Olympia 2, London. Event organisers, Penton Technology Media have chosen emedia’s business to business email bulletins as part of the visitor marketing campaign to promote the show to marketing, brand, customer service, sales and e-commerce directors and managers via its Marketing, Marketing Events and New Media Marketing bulletins.

Email Marketing 2002 should be attended by every marketeer with an email requirement. The event includes a conference programmed by Direct Marketing Association, and a specialist supplier area, where emedia will be on stand 316, to provide advice to delegates seeking to maximise response from ongoing email campaigns, or looking for a low risk entry to email marketing.

In a recent survey of all visitors to Internet World UK 2002, 56% of attendees saw email marketing as the most cost effective marketing tool. emedia reported its own findings in September, that 89% of companies surveyed intend to increase spending on their email marketing in the next twelve months.

“Email marketing is certainly the rising star of the marketing mix,” comments Managing Director of emedia, David Clark. “However, to achieve a return on the relatively low investment that is required for email marketing, it must be subject to the same rigorous profiling, segmenting, targeting and measurement placed on the rest of the marketing mix.”
