NEC Computers (UK) introduces the NEC Tablet PC powered by Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Leading manufacturer NEC Computers (UK) has extended its award winning range of computing solutions with the Tablet PC. This revolutionary PC weighs less than 1Kg and is only 15mm wide making it the ideal corporate mobile computing solution. Its light and slim design enables access to office networks and emails at anytime, from any location through wireless LAN. NEC plans to introduce the ultimate digital paper offering which incorporates excellent design features and functions.

Due to IP telephone and data switching functions, the NEC tablet PC allows numerous users to view the same material, real-time in remote locations and discuss the documents being edited.
NEC will market the tablet PC throughout Europe in the first quarter of 2003.
