NEC Computers (UK) introduces the new PowerMate ML5 desktop PC

Leading manufacturer, NEC Computers (UK) has launched a new addition to its highly regarded PowerMate range of desktop PCs, the ML5. This innovative machine is based on Intel’s newest and fastest chipset, the i845G and is powered by an Intel Celeron or Pentium 4 processor running at speeds of up to 3.06GHz.

The ML5 is integrated with 128MB of memory, up to 1GB of DDR-RAM and Intel Extreme Graphics pre-load. For enhanced connectivity, this new PC features 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 internal 3.5” bays and includes Intel 1GB LAN which delivers network speeds several times faster than Fast Ethernet.

NEC’s latest PC optimises on the most advanced technologies available, providing its users with a 533MHz Front Side Bus, 2 full height PCI slots, 1 AGB low profile slot and integrated AC’97 2.1 audio. The ML5 comes housed in a new tool-less slim chassis providing maximised ergonomics and expandability with instantly accessible components.
