ID Data PLC (“ID Data”) renews exclusive contracts worth £4.7 million with Tesco Stores and the Automobile Association

ID Data, the UK’s largest provider of secure smart-card based transaction systems and services to the international telephony, banking, retail and secure-access sectors, has renewed two contracts together worth £4.7 million to supply Tesco Stores Limited and the Automobile Association (“AA”) membership with loyalty card and membership card production and processing.

ID Data has produced the Tesco Clubcard since its launch in 1995 and is pleased to announce a further two-year contract worth £2 million. This is an exclusive win and allows continued partnership with Tesco and its Clubcard Loyalty scheme.

AA has renewed its exclusive membership card contract with ID Data, choosing the Company as its producer and processor for a further two years in a deal worth £2.7 million. The membership cards are a key component of the AA’s service activities.
