NEC Computers (UK) launches new AMD Mobile Athlon XP notebook for business users

Leading manufacturer NEC Computers (UK) has extended its award winning range of notebooks with the launch of the Versa C150. This new notebook features an AMD Mobile Athlon XP processor (up to 1900+), a 133MHz Front Side Bus, 256KB cache and up to 1GB of DDR memory.

The NEC Versa C150 offers a wide choice of optical drives including a CD, DVD or combo DVD/CD-RW and comes with an internal floppy disk drive. The C150’s 15”TFT XGA display panel is ideal for giving presentations away from the office and its 3-spindle design provides maximum versatility for various multimedia and hardware configurations.
This new NEC notebook comes with a 20GB, 30GB or 40GB HDD, a 56K v.92 modem, integrated LAN and 3 USB ports for optimised connectivity. As standard, the C150 includes a Li-Lon battery and AMD PowerNow technology which will increase the battery life of the C150 by a phenomenal 55%. The NEC Versa C150 is available with a choice of Windows XP Home or Windows XP Pro.
