Calcom Group has recruited three senior call centre figures to meet growing demand for its training and consultancy services. Calcom’s growth is due to new client signings and the success of its management development programme for contact centres, the Peak Performance Programme. Virginia McSweeney, Sally Pollock and Angela Hunter all come from senior management backgrounds in large contact centre organisations.

Virginia McSweeney is Calcom Group’s new Operations Director. She has held positions with Merchants Group and Gateway EMEA where she was Sales Director for Consumer Direct. With responsibility for the strategic direction and delivery of client projects, Virginia will ensure that Calcom’s consultancy work equals its reputation for training projects.

Sally Pollock and Angela Hunter join from Budd as Project Directors. Both have strong financial
services backgrounds; Sally was Customer Project Director for Charles Schwab and Angela Hunter was Head of Customer Contact Centre for Barclays personal investment products.

“We recruit people with hands-on experience of the key issues faced by Calcom’s clients - staff retention, transforming operations and the introduction of new channels. Each member of our new team has delivered outstanding results in these areas” said Calcom Group chairman, Natalie Calvert.

Calcom Group has signed deals with Scottish Water, National Express, LEGO and BSkyB in the last four months.
