New Channel Programme Extends Additional Benefits to Channel Partners and Service Providers Across Europe



London, UK – January 28, 2003 – SonicWALL, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNWL), the leading provider of comprehensive Internet security solutions, today announced the new Medallion Partner Program. Now available across Europe, this new, global channel programme is designed to recognize and reward SonicWALL channel partners and service providers who are committed to growing SonicWALL’s business.



The Medallion Partner Program offers SonicWALL channel partners and solution providers three options for partnership, based upon level of commitment: Approved, Silver and Gold. The programme delivers increasing value to SonicWALL partners at each level, including preferred buying conditions, new service benefits, sales incentives, additional co-marketing activities, and regular communications. The programme is now available to SonicWALL partners throughout North America and Europe, will be extended to partners across Asia Pacific and Latin America, next month.

The Medallion Partner Program features the following benefits at each level of partner involvement:

Approved – By simply registering with SonicWALL these partners will receive regular communication from SonicWALL, regular Web-based product training sessions and the participation in SonicWALL’s Partner Advantage Programme, a loyalty program for individuals within resellers actively selling SonicWALL products*. SonicWALL also provides channel partners and solution providers access to numerous co-marketing tools such as seminars and ready-to-use email campaigns.

Silver – In addition to the benefits received by Approved Partners, SonicWALL Silver Partners receive sales lead referrals and preferred buying conditions at distribution.

Gold – Additional benefits extended to Gold Partners include joint co-marketing activities, partner and support referral programmes, a priority preview programme, priority lead forwarding, a named SonicWALL sales representative, telephone technical support service and promotion on the SonicWALL website. Gold partners are also invited to SonicWALL’s annual partner conference.

The Medallion Partner Program is available immediately to channel partners and Service Providers throughout North America and Europe, and will be rolled out on a worldwide basis, over the next month. * SonicWALL’s Partner Advantage Programme is an innovative online loyalty programme for European resellers. Open to sales people from any registered SonicWALL reseller in Europe, the programme rewards sales of certain products with points. Each quarter SonicWALL assigns reward points to selected products. To take part, individual sales staff simply register online at http://www.jnrcard.com/sonicwall/emea for a Partner Advantage account. Every time they sell qualifying SonicWALL products they update their account with the sales information. Points are accumulated and may then be redeemed at any time for merchandise or even air miles.
