To complement the highly successful NB1 series MCB's, Rowe Hankins have launched an attractive an innovative consumer unit. Designed and developed jointly by Rowe Hankins in the UK and Chint the unit is easy to install, robust and highly adaptable.
In the standard configuration the unit will house 14 poles, sufficient for most domestic or light commercial applications. An alternative allows for 12 MCB's plus a double pole 100 amp isolation switch. The cabinets are moulded from flame retardant high strength, impact resistant ABS, with smoked effect polycarbonate covers. The magnolia finish and classic styling will blend with modern or traditional decoration without the need for further enclosure.
At the heart of the consumer unit is the class leading Chint NB1-63 MCB. These meet all needs from 1 to 63 amps and are rated at 230 to 415 volts. Breaking capacity of 6 KA with trip curves B, C or D. Chint NB1 MCB's have BS EN 60898, VDE, UL and other independent international approvals.
MCB's are installed on a standard DIN rail for ease of installation and upgrade. Pre moulded push-outs in the cabinet permit cable access from above, below or the rear of the unit to give flexibility, speed of installation and neatness. The cover hinges down completely for safety.
Nation-wide distribution is via mainstream electrical wholesalers including CEF, C&S distributors, Range Electrical and Unilec Supply.
