eHealth Suite supports industrys first automated QoS Solution developed to reduce operating costs for telcos, service providers and enterprises


MARLBORO, Mass., February 18, 2003 Concord Communications (Nasdaq: CCRD) today announced that Concords eHealth Suite, an end-to-end infrastructure management solution, supports Cisco AutoQoS. Launched on January 27th, AutoQoS represents an automated end-to-end quality of service (QoS) solution that addresses both LAN and WAN QoS. Cisco AutoQoS minimises the challenges associated with configuring and prioritising the flow of data, voice and video across the network. Cisco AutoQoS simplifies QoS deployments, and can thereby reduce the operating expenses and accelerate time to deploy. The complementary business and technology offerings of Cisco and Concord are evidenced by the ability of AutoQoS to automatically provide QoS to the applications on the network, and the eHealth Suites strength in managing it. The initial delivery of Cisco AutoQoS focuses on QoS for Voice over IP on the LAN and WAN.

Organisations powered by Cisco networks can leverage the Concord eHealth Suites infrastructure management solution and AutoQoS to accelerate and more easily implement productivity-enhancing applications such as VoIP.
